Can anyone tell me some drills that I can do to make myself better, without a pit, because my school has no pit?? Thanks!

Yea, I've been working on pole runs, pole drops, and pole jumps, but that's all I know of...

my favorite non pit drills include sliding box drills, pole runs, and plenty of time spent on a rope and high bar. so many drills can be performed using ropes and bars, its unbelievable. for some reason the topper just doesnt look that convincing to me, though ill give it a shot before i make any strong opinions on it. also, have you ever done underwater vaulting? very fun stuff, PM me for more info.

Well, I had a meet today, I now hold the school record for 6 feet (yes, not great), but for my first time it's good, also people in our county aren't that great. I got 1st place, it was conference also! So I am happy! Our district isn't that great, last year our 1st place pole vaulter in districts placed 8 feet! **The drills are great, thanks everyone!**
