Shannon Gallagher just resigned from Kent State...Bill Lawson is said to be taking over vault coaching duties.
Indiana has the best vaulters!!!

Coach James stepped down at Georgia, and they are now hiring for that job:

The University of Georgia seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Coach for Track and Field. Must have BA/BS degree, Masters preferred. Successful coaching experience, ability to recruit, coach male and female athletes, expertise in pole vault, jumps, decathlon, heptathlon as well as knowledge in all areas of track and field. Candidate must have demonstrated success in recruiting and managing diverse student-athletes including international, national and regional students. Other duties include meet management, team travel, promotions, publicity, etc. Must be committed to performing within NCAA, SEC and University of Georgia regulations and policies. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Send letter of application, resume, and three references with phone numbers to: Wayne Norton, Head Coach of Track & Field, University of Georgia Athletic Association, P.O. Box 1472, Athens, GA 30603. Looks like Humboldt State is hiring as well (not sure if they had anyone before?)

Clemson has selected a new coach for the 2006-2007 season but they won't release anything to us (the athletes)... There has been a name thrown around though. I guess we will have to wait and see........
