Yea yea yea lol. Well im a freshman and today I just started jumping for the first time today in my life. Can i say ? Absolutely. I like the sport and I like pole vaulting. Like i said, i did it for the first time in my life today, and i noticed some of these people were very experienced. Well i did clear 6 ft and almost 7 foot just to try. Nevertheless, i was wondering what you guys would recommend to start doing to try to improve?
Thanks a bunch-

Lots of practice and repetition. It takes time to get better, so if it seems to be progressing slowly, don't get discouraged. If you get better quickly, be very thankful and realize that there will be slow improvement at times. Vault from a short run a lot. Enjoy the journey, not just the results. Have fun and good luck!
