Kurt Westfall. When he passed away in March, Kurt left an astounding legacy: 19 Florida High School State Meet qualifiers from four different schools. Kurt's joyful love of track and field trumped school rivalries. This Saturday will mark the first Kurt Westfall Pole Vault Summit.
A memorial will be dedicated to Kurt, followed by a friendly community pole vault competition. The festivities start at 1:30 p.m. at the Maclay Track. Call me at 942-7333 for more information.
