Lately, I've been addicted to the Japanese game show, Most extreme Elimination Challenge, on TNN. They have ridiculous events showing contestants hurting themselves.

Anyway....

There's one event where the people stand atop what looks like a scaffold and plant a pole in water to attempt to land on a floating island thing. If anyone has seen this, what length does the pole look to be? all i know is it's a pacer (at least I think so).

LOL, i LOVE that show!! watch it whenever its on, so friggen funny.. and yeah, took me a while to figure out, but it is a Pacer, im guessing 16', maybe 17'. the crazy Japenese peoplke are waay up there. lol, funny, but what a waste of a perfectly good pole... :P

haha. my post is pretty pointless, but that show is hilarious. I figure if a real vaulter tried to drive into the pole, he/she'd more or less be flung about 15 ft past the landing pad

lol, yeah that show is great. especially the end wit the 10 "most painful' eliminations. neways, planting into the water, jumpin off a big platfporm thing, im guessin a real vaulter wouldnt do much better than the idiots on the show that go flyin all over the place, lol.
