Looks great! 93' is a long run for 6 rights, almost 11 feet longer than mine... which is nuts in my mind! Thats sick though... carrying some good speed.
The only little thing I noticed was that immediately after takeoff, you seem to be leaning backwards as you begin your swing, instead of really driving your chest into the pole. You look really relaxed and your extension is awesome! Thats the only thing I noticed! Keep up the good work and jump some high bars!

The biggest thing I notice is that your hand spread is quite a bit too wide. and I have found that not only does a narrower hand width help once you are off the ground but it seems to help a vaulter be taller at takeoff and to get ones step out a little bit which I also noticed that you were a little bit under ie. the pole started to bend while you were still on the ground. Overall a nice looking jump. Good luck this year.

I concur with Dan. Same things I noticed. You might start your pole carry a little higher and work on an active drop over the last 8 steps into the takeoff, keeping your left elbow and wrist below the pole. Otherwise, looks good.

Looks good in many areas BUT take a look at where the right hand is as you prepare to plant - too far behind the body so now it has a long travel to get into position for a really solid take off . it is linked to a grip which is a bit too wide -but the probable cause is poor timing of the lowering of the pole.
The end result is that your take off is a fraction under and is not as dynamic as you want. Take a look at the lead knee - it must be a vicious forward up ward punch to put energy into the system AND to ensure good separation between the thighs to set up pre stretch. Your work in the 3rd and 4th phases is as good as I have seen from any US vaulter - but the soft pole may be allowing you to look neat - push up on the poles and think of ENERGY input. Good job old son - keep up the good work.

the importnat thing is. i finally have a video cmpressor that altius can see!!!!!
i have been struggling the last 2 weeks with incosistent run issues. so im ognna come back in to 3 and 4 lefts for a while. while in there i will try to narrow my grip a bit, and really get a quick knee drive at take off. ill post more video soon for everyone.

You look very good for your first meet. I think you could probably hold a half hand hold higher and you would jump six inches higher. With your current technique backing up to 8-9 lefts you can easily jump 5.70 to 5.80 with a higher grip on bigger poles. What Altius and Vaultwest say are correct and things you can improve on, but keep things in perspective because 5.35 from 6 lefts is a phenomenal first meet jump. Do not get paralysis by analysis because sometimes even though the jump may not look technically sound (Bubka) focusing on the mechanics and feel of the jump you can still have great results and it will enhance your confidence and you will be consistent and improve. Good luck the rest of the season. Is Liberty University a good place to jump?
