I was a yearbk photographer and PV was like all I took pictures of. I was in charge of getting the pics for the track spread and I spent like all my time taking pics of the guys PV (and some of the girls, but I like watching the guys better)...and ONLY the good people. So the page is full of like just pole vaulting. Then there is a high jump pic, and a hurdler falling over and someone running the 3200. But there are 4 PV pics on there, kudos to me! ;)
Hey is that a pole in your hand or are you just happy to see me?

I understand why you guys are mad but get over yourselves! Yes, you guys are good, that's great and I am happy for you guys but who cares about a yearbook photo!?! I am our third best vaulter and i know that isn't great but I have been doing this for 3 maybe 4 months and am already vaulting 13'. I don't know if that's all that great but I wasn't in the yearbook and I couldn't care less. It's just a stupid picture! I understand why you are mad but you guys calling the people who vault less than you retards because they got in the yearbook and not you is immature and pathetic. I was that "retard" a couple of months ago and it sucks to have all of the good vaulters put you down! So give them some respect for even trying! Again I see why you are mad, I was a little angry too (another person got most improved when I feel I should have gotten it but who cares, it's just a stupid title that doesn't mean anything). But still lighten up on the newbies!

the guy that i was calling a retard was always complaining in practice and never wanted to do anything the coach said and was also a jerk to all the other vaulters. I was never meen to him or anything but he was still a big jerk. I think thats a good enough reason to call him a retard

frozensteele, don't worry about it. Obviously you have been working your a** off to get 13' in 3 or 4 months and have surpassed 'retard' status and should be proud of yourself now. :D But now, being one of the better vaulters, I'm sure if little Johnny Retard strolled over to practice one day, jumped 7' and got a picture in the yearbok instead of you, you would be a little ticked. Yearbooks are supposed to be made to help you 'remember' the year later on, and its not cool to look back and remember the kid who seriously sucked a** on PV, ya know. But nice job clearing 13 feet in such a short time!

Thanks for the compliments and sorry for kind of over reacting. I just dealt with that type of crap alot so it pisses me of when people act that way! Oh yeah, I'm a sophomore, they just kinda threw me into the pole vaulting group (I was a discus thrower) and I turned out to be pretty good at it so I stuck with it.
