Welcome to New Orleans
Premier Pole Vault competition!

This years event will be held in Tad Gormley Stadium.

Event Date: Saturday July 14th, 2007

The event is sponsored by the North American Pole Vault Association. This years event has been added to their schedule and is part of the national point competition leading to the $5000 grand prize at the end of the season schedule.

Site: Tad Gormley Stadium
1 Palm Drive, New Orleans,Louisiana 70124
The track and field complex is just 10 minutes from downtown New Orleans. The track has an 8 (48") lane, polyurethane surface. All runways, including the javelin, are synthetic. Maximum of ¼" spikes are allowed.

This world class facility was a recent host for the 1992 Olympic Track and Field Trials as well as the 1996 USATF Nationals. With brand new equipment for the 2005 Junior Olympic Games, Tad Gormley is back to top performance stature.

Entree Fee: The entry fee for the 2007 event is $35 per athelete.
All entries will be taken via Direct Athletics
Entry deadline is Friday July 6th, 2007.
There will be no late entries.

Divisions: This years event will have the following divisions.
*Invitational Elite Men
*Invitational Elite Women
*Invitational Elite High School Boys
*Invitational Elite High School Girls
*Open Collegiate Men
*Open Collegiate Women
*Open High School
*Minimum Height Requirement for Entry

Entry Procedure: Entries must be submitted online via All entries will be taken via Direct Athletics with your entry fee, between 8:00 AM on Saturday, July 1st (CST) and 8:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, July 5th, 2007. Go to Direct Athletics

Entry Limits: Participants must carry a current USATF Membership Card and number. Membership cads can be aquired online at the USATF Membership Page Online

Entry Deadline: The deadline to submit or change entries to Direct Athletics is Friday July 6th at 8:00 PM CST.

Yes, lots of jumping in between rain delays. Several PR's in the novice and intermediate group. We didn't stay till the end so I hope someone can post the results.
