Does anyone know what the weather/wind was like in PASCO today for the pole vault? Just checked the results for 4A...Congratulations Sean.

The weather at Pasco
it was 94 degrees at the pit while I was jumping.
On a couple of my jumps I could hardly see the planting box; sweat was dripping into my eyes midway down the runway (and of course blurring my vision).
I only cleared 9'6. I wasn't as fortunate as many girls at 10'0; I brushed the bar VERY SOFTLY on my way down on all three jumps, but the photographs and video show hip clearance at a foot-a foot and a half over the bar.I am feeling a little dissapointed that 10'0 didn't happen, but I am happy to have made state at all this year (especially since I hurt my back 5/6 weeks ago).
Jordan Roskelly(sp?) of Mt. Spokane cleared 12'3 for a new 3A Girls Meet Record, she was great.
It was hard leaving my last high school track meet; I spent some time thanking the coaches (especially Tim Reilly and my coach (rod Kammenga) who have really helped me out over the years... and saying a last farewell and good luck to my fellow vaulters who have helped make this a sport. It has been good, college vault will be great (once I network).
