My coach (Eddy Luthy - D1 college vault coach at EMU) is holding a summer long clinic/camp at Eastern Michigan University.. that isn't far from you. It is several weeks long on Monday and Thursday evenings, with a lot of 1 on 1 detail instruction.. in fact I will be there coaching as well. If you REALLY want to make huge improvements as a vaulter, I would highly recommmend it. The Churchill camps run by Vern are excellent, but most other camps you will learn some drills or a few generic statements (rock back further, etc..) and be gone. You WILL learn how to vault correctly, Eddy has a pretty extreme knowledge of proper mechanics and the physics involved in every single stage of the vault. If you would like the info, I can send you a flier, or give you Eddy's phone number, let me know.

I would also say look up ADTF Academy at www.adtfacademy.com. Danny is a great coach, he coached me to a 5m high school pr and a 5.10 college pr on 15' poles!! He is one of the most technical coaches I know, and is a great guy to be around!! PM me and I will get you his info!!

Vaulter870- thanks for the info!

McMinkz05- The EMU camp sounds interesting. Do you have a link to the info that you can post in the thread?

BethelPV- I was at a 1 day camp put on by Danny last summer in Grand Rapids and I agree he is a very good coach. I would like to work with him again, but his website hasn't been updated in quite a while with any new camp info for 2007. If you hear anything about any camps this summer offered by Danny, please pass it on to us.

I don't think there is anything online, but if you want to PM me with your address I can send the info, or I can give you Eddy's phone number. Actually if you want you can PM coach Eddy himself, his name on this board is "Karma". He is gone at NCAA regionals for the weekend, but I know he checks this board occasionally.
