i love that i actually understood some of the begining. lol its quite funny

A French friend of my wife translated the dialogue as...
The guy says that he likes watching pole vaulting very much, but
that the vaulters do all kind of things before jumping which takes very
long. Also, he mentions the totally useless little hop they all do at
the start (which you can see in the jumping sequences).
