pole weight ratings

I'm 25 lb under (my pole rating)... is that ok??
the pole is the same length except it bends easier so i'm guessing the pole rating is so high above my weight it will help me get higher

Yeah if you can use it without stalling out and get deep enough into the pit then yes a stiffer pole will help you go higher.

yea thats fine, mines 50 pounds over my weight and it unbends more powerfully and allows me to clear heights above my handhold

Just out of curiosity, what length pole, what weight rating, what grip height, what run length and how high do you jump?
