For those of you not familiar with the NAPVA, it is a circuit designed to help out those athletes who are done with collegiate eligibility, but perhaps not yet able to spend a summer in Europe. Past participants include Stacy Dragila and Nick Hysong.

***Please note that this does not guarantee entry to contest the Modesto Relays on May 5th. The relays committee will determine next week if an open section will be scheduled.

I'll work on it. I would assume it is run by this track club: http://www.mardigrastrackclub.com/

Traveling to California and Louisiana from Iowa is expensive. Will athlete travel be paid for by NAPVA?

Nope, not really.

That is a big part of why the NAPVA has mostly drawn west coast athletes.

Lon Badeaux ran a central US circuit 2 summers ago, and Jeremy Hull tried to get it going last summer (but failed). You should talk to those guys if you want a closer circuit. I think the meets were in Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Florida that particular year.
