Can anyone tell me any good drills for staying down after the plant (trail leg and knee drive and such)?

hey

staying down is not an option....

you have to run and plant correctly.. swing.. through.. vertical .. off the pole and over the bar..............

Try jumping the pole up.
Straight pole from 2 lefts hold as high as you can and still get in the pit....Measure your success by the difference between your grip and where you can stand and reach up the pole. My good girl can jump 4' 10" over where she can reach to.

hey

great point rick..

do you have any data for expectations for different level vaulters?

9' -10'-11'-12' etc.. and by your good girl? how good is she... ; )

maybe we can do some correlations.. or you may already have them..

later
