Top of the vault? Just do it?

I'm not trying to be harsh, but I am willing to bet that your plant and takeoff are not "beautiful." If they were, your hips would swing above your head without your being able to stop them. If you are 135 lbs gripping at the top of a 13' 130 and the pole is not in 3000 pieces then there is lots of room for improvement in your takeoff.

You should not be trying to collapse your left arm.

so it is not good to immediately bring your left arm inside the pole right after takeoff in popups as shown in the video?

The bottom arm always has to collapse at some point to allow your body to swing to vertical. In straight poling, as is shown in the video, your bottom arm collapses immediately. When your grip is high enough to bend the pole, your bottom arm should not collapse immediately. If you let it collapse immediately, you will not penetrate into the pit and your body will absorb all the energy you should be puting into the pole.
