mathe genius anyone?

here is a question. if i ran 25ft 2inches in the time of .897seconds. how fast in ft/sec or meters/sec would i be traveling???

25 ft 2 inches = 302 inches.

302 inches/0.897 second = x inches/ 1.000 second

(1.000)(302) inches/0.897 second = x inches/second

336.67inches/second = x

336.67/12 = 28 feet/second; or

336.67/39 =~ 8.63 M/s
