Back in october i went to the university of oklahoma and was talking to chip hauser (sp?) and he was telling me that a few years back he went over to europe to go and vault with petrov and some other vaulters over there and i was talking to me dad about this and it seemed like it was a great experience and that he'd learned alot and my dad was wanting to sending me over there this summer but i cant seem to get ahold of chip and have no information about this so if anyone knows about this or could help me i'd greatly appreciate it!

Not to knock any of the great coaches here but maybe because he coached the world record holder? I would bet he knows a thing or two about the vault. :P

Try calling Steve Chappel at UCS/Spirit (800-537-7117). His son has been over there before.

However, I highly doubt Petrov would have much time to work with you in the summer. He'll be traveling all over the world with Isinbayeva. I don't think they are in Formia much.
