on the first video i saw evidence of you being able to jump very high... because you kept pressure on your bottom arm. Problem is.. you are doing what is called blocking out, and your arm is practically parallel to the ground. You want your arms pushing the pole while the pole is above your head. The thing with shorter poles, tho, is that you cant lock out your bottom arm when you do this (even though thats what elites do) because the pole just isnt long enough (SNAP!!!). Your run... has enough speed to throw you over 11, maybe even higher for sure. Ive seen slower girls than you jump 11'. The best drill for you would be a take off drill with your coach, i wish i knew the exact name (a little help here). Here is what you do.

Get on a pole about at your weight... same length you are using now. Hold at the top, and plant liek you are getting your steps to run back. Then take 3 big steps backwards, and you are going to take the last 2 lefts (or rights) of your jump. Take off big with your hands in the right position.... over your head, and have a coach on your left (if you are a right handed jumper) hold you up with pressure on your back and up under your trail leg. Get the feel for the bend in the correct position. Do this for a while, and eventually have your coach push more and more, and you take off harder and harder... until you are going up and over. Thats the feeling you want when you jump. Its most important to find a coach knowledgeable to help you with this, but this is how all our vaulters got started with the feeling for the bend. After you do this drill for a while, go back to 4 lefts or rights, and have a coach there for you, but its the exact same thing and you should go right through the pole. Some may disagree, but this is the only time i believe it is ok for a coach to give you a little tap. Soon, you will go through the pole and move up to a stiffer one.... then a longer one. After this drill, im convinced you will see yourself at 11 with some hard work. good luck!!

P.S. Sometimes im not good as describing these things, so if you have any questions just write back.
