‘That 70’s show’
Retiree becomes senior Olympic medalist

Most senior citizens sit back and relax when they hit age 70.

Not Wendell Dilling.

The visiting scientist in Central Michigan University’s chemistry department competed in the Michigan Senior Olympics at Western Michigan University July 14 and 15 walking away with 10 medals.

Dilling competed in 13 track and field events and two bicycle races.

Great write-up and well deserved
I've competed along side Wendlell (different age groups)
for 3 Michigan Senior Olympics now and he is everything
the article says-- and a real nice guy
He's a prime example of the founding principles of the
Senior Olympics.

Way to go Wendell
