When will Tommy S. go pro?

You usually have to have at least 124 hours to graduate. Taking the minimum of 12 hours a semester (don't know nuthin' about that quarter nonsense) it'll take you at least 10 semesters or 5 years to graduate. Change your major once and you can easily take on 2-3 additional semesters.

12 is a full load. 15 is what you need to take to graduate in 4 years, but as far as the big time collegiate athletic scene goes, that is being an overachiever. It is more common these days for athletes to take closer to 12 hours each semester and take at least 5 years, maybe throw a summer or two in there, or a sixth year even.

Tommy didn't start college until January of his freshman year, so that would be a factor in him having two years left.

Hey I took 6 years! Of course I did transfer schools twice, and I did take a couple falls off to stretch out my eligibility, and I did finish with something sick like over 160 hours attempted. But don't knock it until you try it

i have my degree. took me 5. i was after girls and drinking beer. so there you go , 5. athletes have everything there to help them...tutors, their own "dinning room" , your teacher is going to understand your an athlete ($$$ for the university). but why is it going to take Tommy 5-6 years to get ba/bs? hes going pro about june 10 2007 i guess (yes im sure thats it). go Tommy! 20 and beyond!
