i know ive done a post somewhere on this forum about this but ive had a few bad vaults in my time. one of which i jumped, crappy plant/takeoff (my own fault started on bad rundown) and i didnt even get to verticle, spun around, and on my way down, the pole bent, i knew enough to jump as soon as my feet hit the ground but when the pole hit the slant in the box (had a crazy bend on the way down) it re-coiled and caught me in a place where it would've been a whole lot better if it didnt, (obtw, i was stradling the pole on the way down... ) and it left me in a worl of pain on the runway, all i did was ley there till a teammate dragged me off the runway haha. def hurt and def will always make sure im focussed from now on

my worst? hit the standards once... oh and i got the crossbar stuck under me so it hit my head and hand on it when i fell on the mat. after that i got it hooked under my foot so on the way down i kicked it and it almost hit another vaulter...

what have you done to yourself then?!?!

only damage i have done to equipment is bent the standard... if we were using a crossbar at practice i would have broke that but we used the elastic practice band... i landed on it so when i got off it shot off into the grass!
