its kinda cheating to say immediate family, there has to be a limit like mom, dad, boy, and girl. Otherwise you will get 8 sibling families each jumping 10 feet, poof 100' combined.

i wish my mom pole vaulted.... lol that would be insane. I think Bubka and Dragila should have kids, and see how high they can set the highest pole vaulting family record at. Haha, about 65 feet.

I'm a close friend of the Johnsons, you guys are leaving out his brother Tim who had the national H.S record before he went on to southern to vault in the 17's.

My family:
Grandpa Charles Pierson: 13'1 in 1952
Dad: 12'6 as a sophmore in 1974
Older Brother Kev: 14'6 in H.S
Me: 18'1
Cousins are sophomore in the 12's

I'm pretty damn impressed w/ the Buller and Johnson family on the genetics though. Looks like their offspring will fair well in the future

The 5 Gensic brothers and dad out of Indiana probably have the highest:

Jake 17' 0.75"
Paul 18' 1"
Ben 16' 4.75"
Sam 14' 3"
Matt 14' 6"
Dad 8' 6"

Total:
88' 9.5"

Waaaaaaaaaay off.
Jan 18
Tim 17 (His brother who had the national indoor record in the early 70s with 16-7 at Bloom high school in Chicago)
Chelsea 15
And if you are referring to Thea Johnson, she played field hockey, I don't believe she ever vaulted, unless she had a cousin on Jani's side who I don't know about.

So I may be wrong here but I think I have the top 3 Father-Son duos right now. I have a feeling the totals will get a little higher in the next few years as the son's begin to catch the fathers.

First: Greg Duplantis (5.80m) + Andreas Duplantis (5.25m) = 11.05m

Second: Randy Hall (5.55m) + Hunter Hall (5.42m) = 10.97m

Third: Dean Starkey (5.92m) + Garrett Starkey (5.03m) = 10.95m
