I will be hosting a Pole Vault Clinic at Towanda Area High School on July 15th for any interested vaulters. The cost of the clinic will be only $65 (or $45 if you are a YMCA member). Registration deadline is July 1st.

We will have several area high school and college coaches, as well as:
~Former PA state AA record holder and 2X NJCAA National Champion, Kurt Dunn
~MAC Conference record holder and DIII All-American, Kevin Clark

Any interested individuals may contact me at xpcoach@comcast.net for a clinic application.

An update on the individuals helping out at the clinic:

Kevin Clark just finished as National Runner-Up at DIII Outdoor Nationals.

D.J. Lehr was an MAC Conference Runner-Up this season to Kevin Clark and will also be present.

Heard a rumor you were trying to get Russ Buller to show...

HAHA... I wish that were true. The closest I have to Russ would be Chris Boyles who is currently internationally ranked 21st in the decathlon by IAAF. Chris is going to attempt to make the clinic, but it all depends on his meet schedule.

Was that Kurt spreading rumors again? Tell him if he would start jumping 5.80+ then he could hype himself up.

A pleasant suprise would be Toby Stevenson showing up, maybe doing a backflip or two after clearing a height.

And if you want Russ to show, just tell him we all bought a bowflex in hopes of it making us better vaulters.
That should work :P

The deadline for the clinic is fast approaching (July 1st). Anyone interested that has not yet registered should send me an e-mail ASAP so that I can add you to the list of athletes at the clinic.
