13'6 155 to a 14' 155...

Unread postby LancerVaulter07 » Wed May 10, 2006 11:05 am

i just got a new pacer 14' 155 and it should be relieving me of a 13'6'' 155 pacer. i tryed to jump yesterday but the pole shot me out and i couldnt get a decent jump on it. now granted i know the 13'6'' pole was older and a little softer but should a switch like this really be that difficult??? any advice???

hold at the same height that you are holding on the 13-6, them once you get in with that, you can start to move your grip up. Get a good jump off the ground, drive your knee up hard and get a nice trail leg going.

in indoor i did the exact same pole switch. I started blowing through the 13'6, so moved up to the 14. It was a little hard to switch at first, but as soon as i had one good day on it i was on it fine. You should be ok, its only one step up from your current pole. Soon you will be blowing through the 14! I am now on a 14 165 trying to go to a 14'6 160, so keep trying!
