Hi guy's,

I am a French Pole Vaulter (PB 5.75) , I do not have jump in La Martinique this year but I've jump there before. I think I have already met you there Russ in 2003, and met you last year in the Lille Metropole couple meeting in France (we were jump in couple with girls vaulter) when you hurt yourself.

So at that time, let me explain my point of view, there is no way that all French pole vaulter hate US vaulters ! I know all the french vaulter who were jumping in La Martinique this year, and I find very strange that nobody let you use ther pole... But if this is the case I will tell them that they are ***** ***** ! winning like that is rubbish...

If I was there for sure I will give you my poles, but I think that mine was too soft for yours guy ( my bigger is a 500/15.4 flex).

But believe me, do not take this as a generality, all french vaulter are not like that, but like in all place there is stupid boy and the others... you didn't have chance, you may be have met all the stupid's one !
Good one have not to pay for bad one :-)

I apoligize to you man, we were so angry there. The meet promised us that they already spoke to the guys and then that happened to us. The travel was long and for us to go all the way over there for them not to let us use their poles was very aggrevating to all of us. We (American PV's) have always let others use our sticks in any situation. Jeremy and Adam are like 7 ft tall and the vaulters had poles for them to use, but were just being as*****! I appreciate your concern. Yes, i remember who you are! At least we know there are good ones out there. See you soon.
