Computer speakers

Holy crap! I finally took the plunge and bought some $80 computer speakers to go with the 30" screen, and it's made a HUGE difference in my quality of life while wasting time! Now I know why people get them.

and the sad thing is that there is another huge sound quality difference when you go from $100ish to $300ish! here is my personal favorite (eventhough im about $350 short of being able to buy them )

I listened to those. Nice speakers.

My good ones (Polk LSi series) are with the audio system. So I didn't need great computer speakers. For computers, best bang for the buck for me is definitely in the $60-100 range for a sub and two speakers. I'm just listening to iTunes while goofing off/working and watching a little TV on the computer when I have to work.

i won my speakers in a raffle a couple years ago, and they are great. i dont even know the brand lol

Just out of curiousity... how do you pull that off!?

I think I may have to reconsider the whole pathology
thing. Right now my sweet speakers are blasting some itunes
heart and lung sounds! Oh yea, they are also set on "repeat"!
Truthfully, I'm getting sick of these gallops, rubs, wheezes,
stenotic valves, etc etc etc

My speakers aren't exactly the $100 type but... they can
still rock out if need be! (they were a great gift)

When I'm at work I goof off moderating here, and I plug my recently procured iPod into my work speakers (el crappo cheapo ones, but they still sound surprisingly good).
