These hysterical sequences range from the deceptively simple (Scrat using a tree branch to pole-vault across a crevasse) to deliriously elaborate affairs, both above and below the ice floes.

When that part came up in the movie (yeah I saw it), my pole vault teammate and I let out a big "YEAH!" Which was quickly followed by many of the movie goers "ssshh"ing us.
Scrat picks up a tree branch, licks his finger to gauge the wind, and goes for it. I don't want to go into too great of detail, but it was the best part of the movie (for me atleast).
