Oregon is a great place to compete in any event.

I was there for the Prefontaine Classic a few years ago. They had to bring the sprinters out of the blocks several times in the start of the 100 meter dash because the crowd was going NUTS for the shot putters, and they could not get it quiet enough for the start.
