how do you go about working on and perfecting the plant. it is the single most important part of the vault and i am curious what people have done to master that so that they can have a powerful plant and takeoff!
If you cant do it right , do if 10000 more times till you can

We do a lot of slide box work... it is something you will need to break down into steps to perfect.

Walking plant drills, 3 steps. Bubka was rumored to do around one thousand plant drills a day. At Reno Pat Manson talked about how everytime he went in and out of his dorm he would do 10 plant drills. If he forgot something and had to go back he would do them again too.

Nothing is good if you use it incorrectly.

But if you use them correctly, slide boxes are great!

Slide boxes are good or you can just plant into a shirt if you don't have one.

the reason I have heard slide boxes to be bad, is that in order to move a heavy one and not fall on your a**, some people lead too much with their left shoulder and block. Doing the same thing with a towel will allow you to plant correctly and square due to taking little effort to move it, and accomplishes the same goal as the sldiebox. :)
What have you done today to get better?
