Sergey Bubka is one of the greatest names in modern athletics - truly a legend in his time. The Ukrainian dominated the pole vault for over a decade and still today holds the world record indoors and outdoors. A six-time World champion and former Olympic champion Bubka has donated the competitions spikes which he used in his last year as an active athlete.
The multiple record breaker Bubka has been elected to the IAAF Council since his retirement and is also a member of the IOC Athletes’ Commission. Within the Olympic movement Bubka is also a member of the IOC Executive Board.

Russia’s Yelena Isinbayeva who was crowned for the second consecutive year as World Athlete of the Year on 9 September 2005 at the World Athletics Gala in Monaco, has donated her Athens 2004 Russian Team Top and competition spikes to the IAAF Athletics for a Better World humanitarian project.
The 23-year-old native of Volgograd has totally overshadowed the women’s Pole Vault since winning the 2004 World Indoor gold medal in Budapest, Hungary. Since then, Isinbayeva has had a faultless career during which she has captured the Athens 2004 Olympic title, the European Indoor Championship gold, and most recently the victory at the Helsinki IAAF World Championships.
One of the leading figures of today’s elite track and field representatives, Isinbayeva has set no fewer than 18 World records in her still short career, the latest of which she established when winning her first World outdoor title in Helsinki with a mighty vault of 5.01m.
Isinbayeva had already achieved one of her most publicised personal dreams in becoming the first woman ever to clear 5 metres in competition at the London Super Grand Prix.
Previously, Isinbayeva had won the inaugural edition of the IAAF World Youth Championships in 1999 and the World Junior Championships in 2000.
Bubka is the greater legend, but Isinbayeva is hotter.
Who will achieve the highest bid??
Which spikes will be worth more - Bubka or Isinbayeva?

Isinbayeva's legacy has yet to be time tested, women’s vaulting is so new, 10 years from now people might not be talking about Isi any more, but they will about Bubka even if *IF* his record is broken.
And the hotness factor...ehh not so much
To get Bubkas spikes, Id pay 2x what I payed for Isi's

Bubka will sell for more right now.
Issy will sell for more later as I believe she hasn't scratched the surface of her potential and will leave women chasing her legacy for years to come, much like Bubka. Besides she has that hotness thing going for her. Forget about the spikes I want a signed picture of issy.
