push ups
I've heard alot from my fellow teammates that pushups can do alot for upper body strength. Like doing regular, decline and decline diomands every night would really increase my upper body strength. What are all your oppinions on this.

Pushing it Up
I have recently been doing a great push up routine everyone should try. You begin with 1 pull up immedietly followed by 3 push ups. Then 2 pull ups, 6 push ups...you continue to work your way up to 10 pull ups and 30 push ups. Its a one pull up to 3 push up ratio. I can almost guarentee you will not be able to complete this workout the first couple times you try to!

"Ray Lewis" or "Deck of Cards" routine..
- Use a simple 52 card deck (no jokers)... Label one color pushups, the other color situps.
- Shuffle the deck, draw a card, do the number that's shown on the card for that exercise (A = 11, K,Q,J = 10 and then usual numbers).
- No rest, except for when you draw another card. So about 4 seconds rest, max.
See if you can complete the whole deck. I finished two decks last week (shuffled to two decks together), i almost died lol

we do a variation on that where my kids split into groups of 2 or 3 and then deal out a single deck to betweent he people in the group, except we do all pushups and we keep the jokers in the deck (15 pushups). once they get through the deck, they shuffle, re-deal, then do it with situps. we usualyy get through about 6 decks in each group before they are ready to die. The kids think its a blast.
