All Night run

Tonight my track team is having an all night run....I'm just seeing if anybody else has done it before...we're also having a vault around midnight.

Just curious...what's the motivation behind all of this?

yeah really...who thaught of this? i def. wouldn't be awake
enough to vault @ midnight, unless i slept all day...crazy

yeah It was a fund raiser....It was really cool. We had 360 laps in 12 hours. The Vaulting was awsome too.

Actually, it does sound kind of fun. The only problem that we would have with a late pole vault would be that our pits are set off from the track and so the stadium lights wouldn't be able to reach it. There is always a cancer society "Relay for Life" 24 hour thing that is held at my school's track each year, and I was wondering if maybe your whole track team had to do something like that.

My cross-country team did something similar we all met at my coaches house on new years eve and went on a long run.

I've done relay for life, for a few years now. Its awesome. I think you guys all should look into it. Not just for the run, but... you'll see if you do it!

the vaulting sounds cool, i think it would be awesome
to vault under the lights. i wonder if it would be tough
though, because @ my school the lights are almost directly
behind the pits so it could be like a bad sunset...especially
while you're getting inverted....sounds fun though

we have something called the Friday night run, which is Herrin boys and girls track teams...going against the Carterville boys and girls track teams(boys and girls seperated of course) but its not an all nighter thing it just starts at like 7 pm.

yea my school is gonna do relay for life also. were gonna run the midnite 4x4 run.
