Like putting a band-aid on something that requires surgery?
Oh, right i get it now
I still am not getting my legs up at all. My coach says that i just look like i quit my vault halfway through, i dont swing my legs up. Maybe when i post that video, you can tell me what exactly i'm screwing up on.
You gotta trust it man!! If you can't get you're legs up, u maybe pullin in!! Your chest has to be driving forward and kept away from the pole by the upward extention of your arms If you pull in too early you are shortening the circumference of your swing!
If you are seriously not pulling in at all, then i think you have a slow trail leg, because a slow trail leg won't help you mount a bending pole, by the time you're inverted, the uncoiling pole will shoot you at the cross bar rather than up and over. Then my suggetion is, is to practice a quick trail leg on a soft pole, work on rowing quick as well, its sticky to deal with, but i have the same issue
