carpet at college??

Unread postby scubastevesgirly » Fri May 06, 2005 11:10 pm

So...my roomate for next year and I just had a little argument...I have a carpet that's good as new, but a little small to completely cover our floor next year....
She wants to get her parents to buy us a carpet that will fit the floor better...

I think 1) it's a waste and 2) it doesn't really matter

...but what do you think??

Your beds and desks are going to take up a pretty good chuck of the space anyway...

Who cares if it doesn't cover the WHOLE floor or not, how lame.

i'm not in college but i've been to a couple different
ones for football camps over the past few years and
the desks and beds do cover alot of the floor space
anyway...just think about the other things too...what
if you spill something? or something happens like that,
it could ruin the carpet and it's easier to throw out and
get another little one. i'm only saying this because last
summer in Amherst, Mass. @ a football camp we had a
shaving cream fight and to seek redemption, my friend
and i knocked on one kids' door and when he opened it
we poured powder through a fan...dusted his whole room
haha. just some little things to think about

haha...my roomate's kinda hard-headed (but of course I love her) , but hopefully I can use some of these comments to convince her.

And of course the liklihood of the carpet getting nasty (or powder/shaving cream getting all over) is a good incentive, I think..

Thanks guys! ;)

If either of you has allergies, no carpet is better than either.
