Senior skip day

a friend and i are sitting in class talking abotu senior stuff....we're wondering if anyone else has senior skip days, especially on 05-05-05, which is the big one at our school. Also...when is eveyrone's graduation and grad nite aand all that good stuff...18 days left of school!!

Same skip day. Last day is 5/18/05, grad 5/23/05!

Im a junior

But i know that they are having one this Monday, the Monday after prom haha. Administration says if too many skip then theyll cancel the "senior week". If they did i think the seniors would like have an uprising.

oh man, you guys get out of school early!! i'm done june 4th and graduate on june 12th. our senior ditch day is may 13th...AND SECTIONALS IS THAT NIGHT!! so we have no choice but to be in school!! :crying:

prom is that weekend too, so i figure i'll just take monday off as my own special senior ditch day, maybe tuesday too...

Ya you do get out of school late. That sucks, i would be mad getting out of school in the middle of the summer.

not exactly the middle of summer for us...i don't head off to college til the end of august so i still have time!!

well i don't know about y'all but i've been done with school since December, i just show up to the building everyday just so i can be legal to pole vault

My track coach was a B**** about it. She told me that if I skipped school on senior skip day, I would not be allowed to compete in sectionals. That would have ment no State Meet my senior year. I came to school, went to sectionals and qualified in Pole vault, Long jump, and 110 hurdles, but i still feel like i missed a part of my life i can never get back. :crying:
