15 yr. old Soph. jumps his age.

Maston Wallace, a 15 year old sophomore from Friendswood Clear Brook High School, TX. cleared 15' 00" to win the HS Division B pole vault this weekend at the Texas Relays. :yes:

Travis Mathews, a sophomore from Magnolia High School also cleared
15' 00" in Division B. :yes:

Thats amazing. Im a sophy and Im jumpin a little over 2/3 of what they are.

Maston that is great congrats on your Personal record.

I heard the competition was fierce and you hung tough with consistent first attempt clearances

Alright so if I turn 18 in two weeks, then I have that much time to PR by 3 feet and jump my age for exactly a day until I can vault 18... This is gonna be tough

How is everyone so good from Tex. and Cal. 15' won state last year in Wis

Travis mathews jumped 15'6" at his district meet, sophmore from magnoila....a freshman from livingstoN HS in texas jumped 15'.

Tex and Cali have always produced the best vaulters...in my opinion its because of the weather and abundance of great coaches


btw congrats on the jump...doubt ill be jumping my age anytime soon :P

Congrats to Travis and the freshman at Livingston. Travis looked really good at the Texas Relays. There were a lot of really good attempts at 15'06" for those guys in division B. I knew he would get it soon.
