How do u hold ur pole when u run too? I find most people who keep it way out yonder to the left or the right seem to have trouble planting and running straight.

TigerVault,
I forgot to mention that I am a proponent of the pole being carried more forward, in other words, my right hand is by my "right front" pocket instead of by my "right rear" pocket as is shown in the third video. By carrying it forward, you have a better chance of keeping the motion of your right hand and arm close to your side and then straight overhead.

ok so i hold my pole(at least when i start my run) with my front hand in front of my belly button and my back hand to my right rear, and then im square and the pole is turned to the left. but i think as i run and get closer to the pit, my hands go out to the right.
