Since most of you don't know me by name and I know most of you from meets, some of you may remeber me because I coach at burlington edison(Courtney Doughty 3A) and help out mount vernon Christian(Brittney Gudmenson B).

Amy, thanks for letting us borrow a pole at state even though we didn't use it :yes: .

Brittney (MVC) vaulted for the first time last year, and she may really do some thing special in B division this year. She is just really tuff on her self. She didn't even run track until last year. She was the track assistant (her mom is the head coach) I asked her mom who the 6' tall girl was, and said that she should vault. Her mother talked her into giving it a try and she made it to state the first year! But man the things she can do b/c she is so tall. it's pretty amazing watching her do some drills, barley running, and moving some big sticks. Courtney just laughs! When they both hold at 12' Courtney's take off is at 9'4" and Brittney's is at 7'.
