Indoor Facilities around the country

Unread postby OUvaulterUSAF » Sat Dec 18, 2004 3:23 am

Please list as many indoor facilities around the country as you can that were built by a club or coach, not associated with a university.

I know of three:

Bell Athletics. Johnsboro, AR
Suhr Sports. Rochester, NY
Willamette Striders. OC, OR

Hey all,
We are putting together a Sprints, Hurdles, Jumps and Throws Facility. PV will be just one of the events covered in the programs. Check out www.willamettestriders.com for some of the pics. I am updating after we go back to school.

Two highly-regarded coaches in the Empire State, Hugh Cauthers and Tim St. Lawrence, recently opened an indoor training facility near Warwick, NY, just north of the NY/NJ border. It is called the Hudson Valley "Flying Circus" Pole Vault Club, and they have a web site: www.hvflyingcircus.com. Hugh and Tim have almost 70 years of pole vault coaching experience and, over the years, have coached 17 New York State vault champions and many vaulters on the national leader boards.

Hugh and Tim actually converted a barn into their training facility. It looks great!
