Would you rather have the competition on Friday between 12 and 3 PM or Saturday between 11 AM and 5 PM? Times are in EST!

Information on the flash pole vault competition can be found at

i say we make it harder by starting at the lowest height adn keep going up 10 each time we clear it... that way our fingers will be tired by the time we get to aroudn 6.50 and so it will be harder?
i run, therefore im buff.

I am working on the competition rules, if you have an idea for a rule that you think should go in I will consider it. I will be posting these rules on thursday night, around 8:00 pm cst-- cuz Survivor comes on at 7:00 ;) .

For those who wish to compete will need to send in their stats: you know your name, your organization-- make up one if you want, keep it pg rated, you personal best on the game, your division, and if you are a male of female!

The divisions are as follows:
D 1 (6.25m-6.50m)
D 2 (5.85m-6.25m)
D 3 (5.40m-5.85m)
D 4 (5.00m-5.40m)
D 5 (4.50m-5.00m)
D 6 (4.00m-4.50m)

If you PR is 6.25m you can either chose D1 or D2, and so on for the other divisions!

Here are the rules for the 2004 Online Pole Vault Competition:
1. Be honest, if you miss the bar, report it as a miss.

2. Three misses and you are out. Once you are out, feel free to play again, but it will not count towards your final bar height.

3. After every height you attempt, report it to pm it to me (Scott Go Pre). Reporting it will be similar to the following: Scott Go Pre 6.00m xxo. Do not report all heights at once, just one height after the other.

4. You are able to pass, but you are only able to pass after clearing a height -- no xPP xo.

5. You must jump at least three times, no jumping 6.50m on first and only time bull crap! You cannot pass until the last height.

6. You must clear the opening height in order to continue -- passing heights or starting out there. No explination needed. The opening heights will be posted on friday afternoon.

7. The competition will start at 11:00 AM saturday and continue through 3:00 PM EST-- You can compete during this time, but after the first height you clear and report to me, you must continue to report every height after that. No skipping and reporting the better heights clearances.

8. The deadline for the entries will be 11:00 P.M. EST Friday, October 29, 2004.

If you feel that I have forgotten any rules, please send me a pm and I will write it out!

Have fun and vault high!
