o yes, and let it be known that i have been on track/"xc" for 5 years- not once has practice been cancelled. practice tomorrow: 5pm

Bonnie? practice.
Francis? practice.
Charley? no school but definitely practice :dazed:

not only that, but if you didn't come- you got that "i'm disappointed in your lack of dedication" look for the rest of the week :dazed: .

note: "xc" gets quotes because you can't really consider my running in the fall to be the actual sport of xc... i'm just that bad :deadrose:

UPDATE: 12:54am EST

we had a strong gust of wind a minute ago and it blew something onto our house-it may have been a pine cone or small nut of sorts. the damage is unknown.

i kid, but it should get bad around 3am, i'll be sleeping then, unless it gets bad enough to wake me up, in which case i'll be awake.

there was actually 2 tornadoes reported near tallahassee area. hopefully the strong gust of wind wasn't from that.

today we had some intermitent rain and the wind was fairly gusty. i lost power this morning at around 11, but it came back on at 11:30-ish. overall it wasn't too bad.

lol and the gust of wind wasn't a tornado. if you're talking about the one's in blountstown, then yeah, those were bad. it's going to be hard for that community, they lost a lot and deserve our prayers.

::sigh:: well school's cancelled again. actually, around half of the public schools in florida will be cancelled tomorrow- wow. i think i've only have maybe 3 full, five day weeks of school since we started aug 16th.

i am kinda mad though cause for the first time in a LONG time, i did all of my work early, but alas, it was all for naught. perhaps god will smile upon the good state of florida, and the next two months will be called hurricane free O:-). o, but i am a dreamer...

hurricane seasons almost over... just keep youre fingers crossed
fun hurricane fact: this is the second time in history that one state was hit by four hurricanes in one hurricane season, the last time was Texas in the 1800s...

perhaps peepers, i can imagine that everyone in florida are asking themselves ... "why?" but who knows, u floridians will come out being so strong ... i mean, any hurricane that comes in the future will be nothing compared to what u guyz have felt. and u still have october, which is till known to have killer hurricanes (Mitch, cat. 5, 150mph, oct. 30, 1998). but lets hope theres no more.

Just like Carlos Mencia, an awesome comedian puts it (referring to another area):

"I don't feel sorry for the rednecks, because they get hit by tornados when they live in *hits himself* TORNADO ALLEY, can you understand that? You're a jack***, MOVE! "We got hit bye a tornado again!" Well OF COURSE you did, because you live in TORNADO ALLEY! It's telling you I'm coming RIIIIIIIGHT HERE! Well, move jack***! It's not even that difficult for you move! your house has WHEELS!"

every area has their own natural disasters, ours just happen to combine most of theirs.

and as for october, we'd better not get hit too badly then cause i'll be 18, and i'd like to enjoy my bday- not be couped up in my house for days. but what happens, happens i guess.
