Trey could also be one of the fastest soon - saw him at the trials - tough stud to do three deca's in such a short time - must have been something to turn around right after the trials and do another Deca

Keenan King perhaps??
he is a cool guy who is a little smaller, very quick and i believe jumped at clovis although i wasnt there
Keenan King is extremely talented and faster than pretty much any vaulter I have seen. I have mentioned this on another post and agree with skyin brian, he could very well be one to watch out for in the not so distant future.
Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill. - Muhammad Ali

Just thinking about this, I don't know if it has come up in this thread, but what about the fastest women vaulter. What do you all think?

Fastest
I think it is probably Jillian.... look at bellathletics.com where they have "speed machine" records. I have watched Jillian run about the same speed many women run--pulling a sled with 25 pounds!
That's Jodie!!

Flat out sprint speed does not always carry over to speed at the takeoff. Some of the fastest vaulters ever were not particularly fast without a pole (Hartwig, Duplantis, Stevenson, Huffman, Dial). Jillian is a very good example of being very fast without a pole, but pretty average with one. She is actually one of the slower 15' vaulters at the takeoff.
