-Hang on the bar like you were going to do a pull-up with a vault grip.
-Raise your ankles to the bar
-Then lift your hips to the bar without bending at the elbows while sliding your legs along the bar so you finish hanging upside down on the bar with your hips at your hands.

I can bench 135 (I weigh 125). The most pull-ups I've ever done are 18. Too bad I'm a better lifter than a vaulter! :( (I'm a girl)

bench- 250

And to how it relates to the vault, well, it's your core. Your core is the central point to a good athlete. Every core lift (squats-505, clean-175 ,deadlift-don't do) is essential to becoming stronger and faster. However have your limits. I find deadlifts to be far less benificial than any of the others athletic wise, so I choose not to do them. CORE!

I weigh about 140 (on a good day) and the most I ever benched was 175 (whoo!), but I can do bubkas till my hands slip off the high bar... Anybody out there that can do muscles-ups, bar or rings? I can do about five or six on the bar and about one or two on the rings.... Also, I just learned how to kip, which is a really fun trick, but not quite sure how it helps you vault better... I try not to lift for bulk, i think that the bulkier I get the more limited my mobility is... But that is just me! :P
4.75... Write THAT down...
