It's a boy!!!
MY wife and I (my wife mostly
) had a boy Ian Robert Schmitt at home monday night.

An optimist is one who sees a light in darkness....a pessimist blows it out.
Congratulations!
Robert - Congrats on the little man! What a blessings to come out healthy and well. It must be that Wisconsin blood with a touch of Canadian flavor...Enjoy your new family!

Congrats. Your life has officially changed, although you probably won't really feel the full impact until he starts walking. Of course, by that time, number two could be on the way! Then you'll find out that one plus one is more than two when it comes to young children.
My first child and only daughter (and only vaulter so far) will be going to college in the St. Louis area (and on the track team) in two weeks. Enjoy the ride. The scenery will be constantly changing.
