Putting Pit in my backyard!

Jan Johnson has his camp in his backyard and all his runways are rubber right on the ground. ( in California) I actually don't think they are all that great. but with care you can have a pretty good surface. We also put pits in the back yard but dug a box and laid asphalt then laid the rubber...which we had buckets of from repairing the highschool runway where my husband was the coach. We also built a portable "box" runway for when we did indoor events at the high school. THat is pretty easy. Then lay your rubber on top.
