Surfers?

How many of you guys surf? Surfing seems to be a big thing for vaulters. Im Just starting tried it a few years ago and I sucked but yesterday I was doing pretty good for being my first time in a few years. Its good stuff.

I tried it and for the most part hated it. The surf in TX was normally so bad, that you had to be an experienced paddler just to make it out of the impact zone. I had alot of fun doing it when it was clean, but I suck really bad, and most of the time I hated it.

yeah, surfing isnt exactely big here in michigan.. but if you count the FROZEN water + snowboard version, then i surf, and love it! :P

well last year at jj's camp as well as when i spent time at a cousin's in SLO, CA I learned to surf and loved it, i got up several times and thought i did alright for a beginner! id love to do it again, but here in the landlocked state of NM my only option is snowboarding, which is also much fun. my fav. part of surfing was the 52 degree water!

I went snow boarding in the last winter and ate crap. I hit this section that was all icy and slipped backwards. My back got all scraped up It was fun though.

I love surfing but I barely get to go anymore. I want to get up to Santa Cruz this summer a few times :heart:

I've been once in Santa Cruz and I loved it. I picked it up pretty quick and would love to do it again. Washington isn't a surfing mecca, but the snowboarding makes up for it.

You gotta get yourself into some REAL surf, no more of that crap you call " surfing" in texas, get your arse out to the OC for real waves ( and real women)- hahaha :P

Yeah, for sure! there are definately not waves to surf on in Seattle.
