yeah, im not sure if im going to that one now. 40 vaulters...hmmm. someone lied about their PR to get in...maybe 20 did? last years opening height was 14'6".

Sh*t like that pisses me off. I know of alot of vaulters (most from NY) who BSed heights when I was in HS to get into big meets (Penn Relays, Adidas, Nike) and it takes away from the rest of the field.
Don't worry tho, the embarassment they get when they horribly miss opening height will make you feel alot better, and everyone will know they dont belong. Good luck all..

I'm guessing Mitch Greeley told some of you at Golden West that he will not be at Adidas. He has been driving from East coast to West coast, now headed to Gulf Coast then home, for meets so it's impossible to make them all. He's missing out on USATF JO's as well, which is a bummer too. But that's life, priorities and decisions.

Maybe he should write a screen play about his adventures this summer. Knowing Mitch and his great sense of humor it would be awesome.

Good luck to everyone at both Adidas and USA Juniors. And congrats on many great finishes at both Golden West and Great Southwest.
