That's Jodie!!
A scripture that makes me think of all you girls and guys pole vaulting....
Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.

No one was in Chelsea's league. She was varsity and the rest of the field was Pop Warner. Was over 4.42 by a mile 3 times but fell on the bar each time.
Soma is a competitor. Barely brushed off 4.30 on her first.
Green moved to a new pole for 4.30 and didn't quite have anything left on her 3 attempts.
On Sims' last attempt she couldn't find her pole! She looked on the rack, it wasn't there. Ran under the tent, it wasn't there. checked the rack again, still not there. Time was running out, so she moved the standards back to 80 and grabbed a small pole and went. Almost made it, but that was way too much confusion for your last attempt of your senior season.
Nguyen is a good vaulter. Made 4.10 (a PR I think?) by 6 inches. Fell on 4.20 twice with the standards at 65, so she moved them up to 55 for her 3rd and blew through the bar.
Janson didn't take off the ground once all day, not even in warmups (or in the aborted qualifying round on Wed. either). Ran through all three attempts. She has a load of talent but she seems mental since getting hurt last year. Hopefully after she graduates she gets with a decent coach who can work out her problems. She has too much talent that is going to waste.
Juhasz was undergripped on too small of a pole. Never adjusted and never had a shot at her opening bar.

"You have some interesting coaching theories that seem to have little potential."

awesome pics becca.
this was the first chance ive had to watch some of the elite girls vault in a long time and wow have things come a long way. Somas run was absolutely amazing. 9 lefts of some very quick and controlled speed. The nebraska and minnesota girl were just incredibly vertical on the stick. Chelsea was doin a lot right as well. haha. Anyway, future looks really bright for these girls. Congrats to all of you
especially chelo!!!

I am sure that everyone in the stands noticed the problems that people were having, but no one needs to be called out like that.
I didn't find anything he said negative, actually I appreciated the HONEST feedback.... Since most of us weren't IN THE STANDS, its nice to hear what went on...
