FASTEST POLE VAULTER

Unread postby vaultin chris » Fri Jun 11, 2004 2:38 pm

Trey Hardee's 10.48 makes him the 8th fastest U.S. performer ever in the decathlon 100, and the second fastest ever by a collegian...That has to make him one of the fastest vaulters ever. Anybody know of any faster 100s recorded by a vaulter?

I ran 10.62 in High school and 10.7 in JR college. I bet you have a blazing 100 chris.

I have heard Russ ran 10.30's. Nick Hysong posted a 10.29 at a meet last year, but I think it was hand timed, and wind aided. Not sure on that though. 10.48 is haulin'......no doubt about it. Props to Trey Bell.

Russ, you really need to get faster.......you're too dang slow. Kyle, I was referring to the decathlete Trey.........not Trey Bell. Whoops.

Doesn't Daniel Tronsclair run on the LSU 4X100 now? He must be pretty fast. I know that Scott Huffman has recorded runway velocities of 10m/s so he must have been quick in the 100 if he wanted to be.

you think i'd be vaulting more than 5.10??? i suck, so you should put me in the same category with russ or anyone who jumps higher than 17' even!!!! i'm also 6'5, which is another advantage. how tall are you russ???

i ran lead off at ncaa's this year for our 4x1, we only manages 39.7 though, but i have the fastest time on my team, i'm pretty sure russ had some quick little kids bringing home the stick.
8700... mark it down
