Don't Drink and Drive

Unread postby qtpie57 » Tue Jun 01, 2004 5:39 pm

so the site is in hebrew, but you get the idea from the pictures, after the picture of the totalled car, the pictures get hard to look at, emotionally, so this is your warning. But i think it will probably make people stop drinking and driving

i'm part of sadd (students against destructive decisions) and one of the people who headed the prom committee got a crashed car to show how drinking might lead to death when driving a car while drunk. the thing is, no one in my school listened cause i found out people drank anyways. i think people don't take drinking seriously and one day will pay for their actions.

Your not going to be able to change peoples perspective with a mangled car. We've been desensitized by movies and a war on a tv. The sad thing is the only way they will likely change their ways is that something happens to them or someone they know and care about. Its sad but most of the time the truth. But i wouldn't be too discouraged, you may have changed one persons mind and saved their life and several others.

but i'm pretty sure SHE wasn't the one drinking and driving...
~Why does everyone prefer those who lie and make themselves less than they are, rather than those who embrace who they are, rejoice in it, and refuse to pretend anything less?

Every Fifteen Minutes is a great program they have out in California. I don't know if they have it elsewhere.

I personally like Germany where they take away your license for life if you're caught driving drunk. If they catch you again they'll take away your car too.
